  • Competitive Salaries:
    • EMTs start at $49,013 annually
    • Paramedics start at $61,558 annually
  • Day, night and tactical shifts
    • 12-hour shifts
    • Indianapolis EMS providers working a 12-hour shift are scheduled for 2,184 hours annually. As a comparison, an EMS agency working a 24/48 schedule will be scheduled to work 2,928 hours or 2,496 hours for services offering a       24/48 schedule with a Kelly day. When comparing salary and hours worked,       IEMS has a favorable starting salary to offer.
  • Sign on bonus
    • EMTs receive $1,500 paid in two installments
    • Paramedics receive $5,000 paid in two installments
  • Night shift incentive of $2.50 per hour for hours worked between 6 p.m. and 7      a.m. Sunday through Saturday
  • Run volume stack pay incentive
  • Eight paid holidays at a double time rate
  • Employee begin earning paid time off (PTO) beginning day one.  Employees earn 16 twelve-hour shifts of PTO each year for the first three years and then      the PTO accrual is increased for years four and beyond
