PROGRAM BASICS:
The Indianapolis EMS (IEMS) Paramedic Science Program in partnership with Eskenazi
Health, is a 52-week IN-PERSON program designed to present subject matter in a
section- or shift-accommodating manner to make attendance convenient for EMS and
fire department personnel. Classes are held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Indianapolis EMS.
Tuition, ID Badge and Respirator - $7,500
Other Costs - Approx. $2,000 (books, uniform, insurance, etc.)
*information on payment plans, employer invoicing and GI Bill benefits will be covered at the information sessions.

This course will begin Monday, Aug. 12 or Thursday, Aug. 15. Attend class one night each
week from 6-10 p.m. – choose the day that’s best for you. A & P class will end Nov. 21.

Mandatory Paramedic Program Orientation
Choose either Dec. 16 or Dec. 18. You only need to attend one of these days. Orientation will take place at the IEMS Conference Center, 3976 Georgetown Rd.

Paramedic Class Begins
*Certain college-level English, math, and anatomy and physiology courses may exempt you from the entrance exam and/or IEMS anatomy and physiology prerequisite course. Details will be available at information sessions.*
